Our Mission and Purpose

The purpose of this congregation shall be to give honor and glory to God by:
  • making disciples through going forth, baptizing and teaching,
  • living out the will of God as He empowers us,
  • extending a helping hand to people in need,
  • manifesting the unity of our faith in Jesus Christ as God and Savior,
  • fostering Christian fellowship and love, and
  • achieving our purpose by:
    • the preaching of the Word of God
    • the administration of the Sacraments, and the religious instruction of all its members according to the confessional standard of the Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Free to be Faithful

                                 Welcome to Praise
What to expect:
• You will be welcomed with a smile, handshake, and probably even a hug.
What should you wear:
You will see people dressed in shorts, jeans, dress pants, dresses, but very rarely will you see someone in a suite and tie.
Communion is every 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month.
• We have a contemporary church service;
we do not use a hymnal.  We have a praise team.
Our songs are on the screen on the wall;
if you want a “full” printout of the service, just ask on of the ushers by the “cart”.
• You are welcome to come a little early and enjoy a donuts and coffee. There is also hot chocolate and hot tea.
• The church service lasts anywhere from 60 minutes to 75
minutes.
• There will be a red booklet that all members and guest sign (usually during the offering, but you can also do it anytime
during the service). If you are a guest, please put your address
so we can thank you for coming.
Guests also receive a welcome bag (be sure to let the ushers know this is your first visit to Praise
