“Christ, Community, and Culture”
On the heels of Jesus’ death and resurrection, His followers were able to look out over the landscape of life with fresh eyes. Beginning in their own backyard of Jerusalem, the Early Church embraced The Great Commission of Jesus Christ and experienced a community unlike any other. As a result, the culture(s) around them experienced the life-saving work of Jesus! Today, Jesus is still calling folks to experience the transformative power of The Gospel through His Church, where authentic community takes place, grace and forgiveness are offered freely, and purpose for life is modeled.
