Worship Style
We believe that our variety in worship styles is a strength for the
ministry of Praise Lutheran Church and our community. We invite you
to share in each of opportunity to Praise the Lord Jesus Christ!
First and Third Sundays of each Month
On these two Sundays each month, our worship follows a very exciting
and enthusiastic style. The Praise Celebration Team,
a group of musicians playing guitar, drums, and keyboard, along with
vocals, lead our singing of modern Christian praise and worship music.
The Praise Celebration Team is made up of a group of Praise members
who dedicate their time and energy to providing an exciting flare
to our worship.
Second Sunday of each Month
On this Sunday each month we use a blended form of worship that uses
several styles of worship ranging from modern to traditional. This
non-liturgical worship maintains all the aspects of confessional Lutheran
worship (confession, absolution, a statement of faith, God’s
Word proclaimed, and prayer). The music ranges from traditional hymns
to modern praise and worship music.
Fourth Sunday of each Month
On this Sunday each month our worship follows a traditional form
based on the liturgical forms of The Lutheran Hymnal and Lutheran
Worship. This style of worship has served Lutherans of many generations
and we desire to maintain our heritage by experiencing this style
of liturgical worship each month here at Praise Lutheran Church. The
hymns used on this Sunday are taken from Lutheran hymnals and hymnal
supplements.
